The Kids in the Hall legend (and former Saturday Night Live cast member) sets out on an epic, national quest to answer the question “Who are we when we aren’t working?" I was honoured to be interviewed as part of Episode 1- Birding and discuss my “spark bird” - the Turkey Vulture. A "spark bird" is a term used in birdwatching to describe a particular species that ignites a deep interest in someone, often inspiring them to pursue birding as a hobby. In this episode Mark McKinney also travels to the Canadian shores of Lake Erie to learn about birding and birdwatching; he embarks on a journey to the Long Point Nature Preserve, tags and releases birds at a Birds Canada outpost.
